Frequently asked questions
When am I part of the Alumni Toon?
As soon as you graduate from UWCD, you're automatically part. The Alumni Toon is simply a word for the wider alumni community at UWCD, and there is no membership required.
Is this another alumni council?
No, the Alumni Toon was created by some alumni visiting for the UWCD 10-year anniversary with the wish to create a better communication channel and connection between alumni. Anyone can do projects and we have no official or elected organisation. Some of us meet every second week to discuss how to move forward the Alumni Toon through individual projects. Let us know if you want to join with your own project or help an existing one.
How can I help?
In any way! We're a very young alumni body and have no official structure. If you want to join a project, write to the project leader found here on the website. If you want to start a project, do it! Write to Jeppe Strands or Dalia Atallah in the alumni WhatsApp group or on LinkedIn and we'll help you get started!

Giving Back
We want to give back to the school and support current students and their projects. As alumni, many of us had the privilege of receiving help from supporters, and giving back is an important part of our mission. Each Alumni Toon project works hand in hand with UWCD to support and amplify the school's mission and initiatives.

Toon Ambassadors
We would love to have class ambassadors for each class, helping the school reach out to the alumni of their class for reunions and other activities. The role can include amplifying initiatives on social media platforms, and being the point of contact for anyone who wants to learn more about the Alumni Toon initiatives.
